All-Weather is alright
Today the All-Weather Championships take place at Newcastle instead of Lingfield, the host of the previous years. That racing day has traditionally been very advantageous for us, and even if our strategies seem to suit better the other AW courses than Newcastle, we remain confident.
Nowadays I win money in British, French, and Hong Kong flat racing, but my education as a horseplayer has been Scandinavian trotting since I started betting horses in 1976. In trotting, it is very important to forecast, how the race will be run? Where the horses will run? How fast is the pace? Is there a risk, that a good horse will be parked out or boxed in?
We estimate the class of the horses very accurately because we have advanced measurement and rating systems, which we use computerized. But nowadays the betting market is pretty efficient, too. So the reason, why we beat the market in Britain is mostly, that we understand the importance of pace, expected running positions, and track biases. In AW-racing these are more important than in turf. Therefore we like to invest on dirt track racing even if we enjoy a lot of the better quality of the horses on the turf.

L3: A 12 B: 5,8,2,3 (we underweight 3 Ejtilaab for good reasons)
L4: A 9
L5: A 4,5 (Our ratings rate 4 Highfield Pricess much better than 5 Internationalangel, even if the betting market disagrees with us)
L6: A 8,1,6
We reduce our system with demand at least 5 A-horses placing.
